5 elementary and middle schools in Songpa, Gangdong-gu, Seoul
Four elementary schools, including Haenuri Elementary School in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and Garak-cho, Gawon-cho, and Gangmyeong-cho, Gangdong-gu, and one middle school, Gangdong-gu, Gangmyeong Middle School, were closed for 6 days because of the new coronavirus infection. According to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, these five schools were urgently closed on the day. The closing period is once a day but may increase depending on the circumstances. Haenuricho is known to have been dismissed from school because some students were already closed. This school is an integrated operating school that runs alongside junior high schools, but junior high schools have not been affected since they are still on vacation. Schools that are closed are known to live in one of the apartment complexes in Songpa-gu, the 19th confirmed corona. Other schools in Songpa-gu, such as Seokchon-cho, Samjeon-cho, and Jungdaecho, are also considering closure or are scheduled to close seven days. More and more schools are closed in Seoul to prevent the spread of new corona. In Mocheon-gun, Yangcheon-gu, one parent was contacted with the 12th sponsor and was subject to self-containment. The 42 schools in Seongbuk-gu and Jungnang-gu, which are located near the 5th confirmed home or within a 1 km radius of his long-standing residence, will be closed from 6 to 13 on orders of the Seoul Metropolitan Superintendent Cho. The Board of Education has been enacting a bold order to shut down schools that are considered dangerous based on 'confirmed traffic and one kilometer'.
